What We Do With Hotel Floors
USA Epoxy Floors has provided hotel flooring solutions in Forestburgh, NY for hotel owners, managers, and facilities teams, including surface preparation, concrete repair, coating removal, epoxy floor and cove base installation, and polished concrete, for over 25 years. Our work covers lobbies, corridors, guest rooms, bars, kitchens, restrooms, storage areas, and back-of-house spaces where hotels require durable and attractive surfaces that also support regular cleaning.
Hotel properties experience heavy guest foot traffic, frequent cleaning, and constant use across both public and staff areas. The front-of-house needs to maintain a professional look under wear, while back-of-house zones like kitchens and service areas depend on slip resistance, cleanability, and resistance to spills or chemicals. Restrooms and wet zones require seamless waterproof flooring for hygiene and guest safety.
Our process for hotel flooring in Forestburgh begins with mechanical surface preparation to address cracks, defects, or existing failed coatings before moving on to system installation suited to each hotel environment. Our experience with installation, repair, and maintenance in Forestburgh covers decorative resurfacing for high-visibility areas, slip-resistant flooring for kitchens and service corridors, and waterproof systems where sanitation is a priority. Each floor is planned around the operational demands and maintenance cycles specific to hospitality work.

Frequently Asked Questions
Does USA Epoxy Floors work on Hotel properties near Forestburgh?
Yes. Hotel floor work runs throughout Forestburgh and Sullivan County. USA Epoxy Floors is based in Fishkill, family operated and veteran owned, and travels across the region for projects of this kind.
Is slip resistance addressed?
It is specified deliberately. Broadcast flake and quartz add texture, and anti-slip additives can go into the topcoat where the operation calls for it. The level is set against how the Hotel is actually used, including wet areas and wash-down zones.
What happens if the slab has moisture issues?
Moisture vapor rising through concrete lifts coatings that were not built for it — a frequent problem in older Hotel buildings. Slabs are tested where conditions warrant, and a moisture-mitigating primer or vapor barrier system is specified where readings call for it.
Can installation happen in cold weather?
Often. Polyaspartic and polyurea cure across a wider temperature range than standard epoxy, which makes cold-weather work viable in many unheated Hotel spaces around Forestburgh. Substrate temperature is checked before the job is scheduled.
How is the space prepared before work starts?
The floor area needs to be clear — equipment, stock, and vehicles moved out of the sections being coated. For a working Hotel, the sequence is planned so the disruption is contained to one area at a time wherever the layout allows.
Who runs the project?
Owner George Tsinias. He estimates, works the floor, and handles the final walkthrough on every job, running since 2001. Call or text (845) 464-2539 for a Hotel project in Forestburgh.
What Our Clients Say about us..
"4 other contractors showed up, did their pitch, and then had to "go back to the office to prepare a quote" - 2 of them never responded and the other two estimates seemed high - George on the other hand showed up, gave me my options and provided a written quote right on the spot that was about 15% less than the other quotes and went on to do a superb job on my garage floor. I would recommend him highly!"

"We are so happy to have discovered George Tsinias. He is an old school artisan and gentleman who takes pride in his work, takes every issue seriously, answers every question, and is a meticulous workman. The garage floor he did for us is stunning. He is humble, fun, courteous, friendly, extremely knowledgeable about adjacent trades and competent in several of them. I am delighted to give him the highest recommendation and look forward to referring him to friends and to using him again."
