USA EPOXY FLOORS
Urethane Floor Installation in Candlewood Isle, CT
Urethane floor installation in Candlewood Isle from USA Epoxy Floors involves mechanical profiling, moisture assessment, and sequential application of urethane layers. The result is a robust floor built for aggressive chemicals, high traffic, and extreme heat or cold.
Why Choose Us
When handling urethane floor installation in Candlewood Isle, George Tsinias of USA Epoxy Floors inspects the site’s concrete for surface flaws and evaluates slab moisture using industry meters. Grinding or shot blasting establishes the correct CSP, often CSP 3 for commercial properties and CSP 4 or above for more industrial requirements particular to Litchfield County. / The process proceeds with a urethane-ready primer, followed by structural base coats reinforced where needed with aggregate for slip control or mechanical strength. High-build urethane finishes provide powerful defense against acids, solvents, frequent cleanings, and abrasion. Urethane cement underlays may be installed in food production or kitchen environments in Candlewood Isle, creating effective resistance to boiling water or steam shocks. / Final approval comes after a detailed assessment of surface cure and finish quality, ensuring the new floor stands up to warehouses, labs, garages, or food processing plants in Candlewood Isle where demanding use is a daily reality.
Owner Management from Start to Finish in Candlewood Isle
From site evaluation through the last walkthrough, George Tsinias oversees urethane floor installation in Candlewood Isle. His expertise makes certain all surface prep, material specification, and finishing meet the operational needs and use cases seen in Litchfield County properties, not just industry averages.
Professional CSP Surface Prep in Candlewood Isle

Frequently Asked Questions
Is Urethane Floor Installation available in Candlewood Isle?
Yes — Candlewood Isle and communities across Litchfield County, CT. USA Epoxy Floors has been doing this work since 2001 and travels throughout the region for it, residential and commercial alike.
What should I expect during Urethane Floor Installation?
The space is cleared, the slab is inspected and profiled mechanically, repairs go in, and the coating system is applied in stages. Cure windows between coats are part of the schedule, not delays. At the end the floor is walked through together before the job closes.
Will Urethane Floor Installation work on a floor that already has a coating?
Usually. The existing coating comes off mechanically, and the slab underneath is inspected to identify why the previous system failed. Poor preparation and moisture vapor account for most failures. The cause is addressed before a new system goes down.
What system will be used for Urethane Floor Installation?
It depends on the floor. Epoxy builds thicker and bonds deep; polyaspartic cures quickly, tolerates colder installs, and resists UV yellowing. Many jobs use an epoxy base under a polyaspartic topcoat. The specification follows the slab inspection, the moisture readings, and how the space is used.
Can Urethane Floor Installation be done in winter in Candlewood Isle?
Frequently. Polyaspartic chemistry cures across a wider temperature range than standard epoxy, which makes cold-weather work viable in many unheated Candlewood Isle spaces. Substrate temperature is the controlling factor and gets checked before scheduling.
How do I get a price for Urethane Floor Installation?
Reach out at (845) 464-2539 or through the estimate form with the square footage and a description of the space. George Tsinias comes to Candlewood Isle, walks the floor, and quotes on the spot.
What Our Clients Say about us..
"4 other contractors showed up, did their pitch, and then had to "go back to the office to prepare a quote" - 2 of them never responded and the other two estimates seemed high - George on the other hand showed up, gave me my options and provided a written quote right on the spot that was about 15% less than the other quotes and went on to do a superb job on my garage floor. I would recommend him highly!"
