What We Do With Spa Floors
USA Epoxy Floors has provided complete spa flooring solutions in Prospect, CT for spa managers and owners, including surface preparation, waterproof coatings, crack repairs, polished concrete, and slip-resistant applications, for over 25 years. This work spans pool decks, restrooms, treatment rooms, locker rooms, and wet areas where reliable moisture protection and safety are essential for guest satisfaction and staff efficiency.
Spa floors must remain safe under constant moisture, frequent use, and cleaning products used throughout the day. Pool areas and wet rooms depend on slip-resistant textures and seamless detailing to minimize risk, while locker and relaxation zones require integrated waterproofing and cove base for drainage and compliance. In treatment and lounge spaces, the floor is expected to maintain a clean look, support hygiene standards, and deliver a comfortable surface for bare feet.
Our approach in Prospect starts with targeted repairs, substrate grinding, and moisture checks for every spa environment. We select and install systems based on area-specific requirements: waterproof coatings, slip-resistant resin finishes, seamless transitions at wall edges, decorative or polished concrete for areas where appearance matters, and specialty installations for difficult conditions. Our experience with spa flooring in Prospect helps us deliver durable, easy-to-clean floors so the property supports a comfortable, sanitary experience for every visitor.

Frequently Asked Questions
Does USA Epoxy Floors work on Spa properties near Prospect?
Yes. Spa floor work runs throughout Prospect and New Haven County. USA Epoxy Floors is based in Fishkill, family operated and veteran owned, and travels across the region for projects of this kind.
Is slip resistance addressed?
It is specified deliberately. Broadcast flake and quartz add texture, and anti-slip additives can go into the topcoat where the operation calls for it. The level is set against how the Spa is actually used, including wet areas and wash-down zones.
What happens if the slab has moisture issues?
Moisture vapor rising through concrete lifts coatings that were not built for it — a frequent problem in older Spa buildings. Slabs are tested where conditions warrant, and a moisture-mitigating primer or vapor barrier system is specified where readings call for it.
Can installation happen in cold weather?
Often. Polyaspartic and polyurea cure across a wider temperature range than standard epoxy, which makes cold-weather work viable in many unheated Spa spaces around Prospect. Substrate temperature is checked before the job is scheduled.
How is the space prepared before work starts?
The floor area needs to be clear — equipment, stock, and vehicles moved out of the sections being coated. For a working Spa, the sequence is planned so the disruption is contained to one area at a time wherever the layout allows.
Who runs the project?
Owner George Tsinias. He estimates, works the floor, and handles the final walkthrough on every job, running since 2001. Call or text (845) 464-2539 for a Spa project in Prospect.
What Our Clients Say about us..
"4 other contractors showed up, did their pitch, and then had to "go back to the office to prepare a quote" - 2 of them never responded and the other two estimates seemed high - George on the other hand showed up, gave me my options and provided a written quote right on the spot that was about 15% less than the other quotes and went on to do a superb job on my garage floor. I would recommend him highly!"

"We are so happy to have discovered George Tsinias. He is an old school artisan and gentleman who takes pride in his work, takes every issue seriously, answers every question, and is a meticulous workman. The garage floor he did for us is stunning. He is humble, fun, courteous, friendly, extremely knowledgeable about adjacent trades and competent in several of them. I am delighted to give him the highest recommendation and look forward to referring him to friends and to using him again."

"When we called George to give us an estimate on our basement , we knew he was the right guy. He did such a good job in a basement. Then we had him do our two garages. He will never leave a job unless the customer is 100% satisfied. He takes pride in his work. He is a GREAT person to deal with and very responsive and very reasonable."
