What We Do With Showroom Floors
USA Epoxy Floors has provided showroom flooring solutions in Knox, NY for commercial property owners and managers, including surface preparation, concrete repair, flooring removal, epoxy flooring installation, and recoating, for over 25 years. Our work includes mechanical grinding to open the existing slab, repairing cracks or imperfections, removing old finishes, and installing updated systems selected for showroom use.
Showrooms require floors that make a strong impression while withstanding steady foot traffic, abrasion from rolling fixtures, and frequent cleaning. Frequently Asked Questions
Is Showroom coating available in Knox?
Yes — throughout Knox and the surrounding Albany County, NY area. USA Epoxy Floors has been coating floors since 2001 and handles Showroom work regularly across the region.
Which coating system suits a Showroom?
That follows from the conditions. Epoxy builds thicker and bonds deeply; polyaspartic cures faster, installs across a wider temperature range, and resists UV yellowing. Many Showroom floors run an epoxy base with a polyaspartic topcoat. The slab inspection determines it.
What about moisture in a Showroom?
Moisture vapor moving up through concrete lifts coatings that were not specified for it. Where a Showroom shows signs of dampness, the slab gets tested before a system is selected, and a moisture-mitigating primer or vapor barrier build goes in where readings call for it.
What finishes work well for a Showroom?
Solid colors, decorative flake, quartz, and metallic systems are all options. Flake broadcast adds texture underfoot and hides minor slab imperfections, which suits high-traffic areas. Samples are reviewed during the walkthrough against the actual space.
Does the area need to be emptied?
Yes. The floor has to be clear for grinding and application, so anything stored in the Showroom moves out before work begins. On larger spaces the job can often be staged in sections.

"4 other contractors showed up, did their pitch, and then had to "go back to the office to prepare a quote" - 2 of them never responded and the other two estimates seemed high - George on the other hand showed up, gave me my options and provided a written quote right on the spot that was about 15% less than the other quotes and went on to do a superb job on my garage floor. I would recommend him highly!"

"We are so happy to have discovered George Tsinias. He is an old school artisan and gentleman who takes pride in his work, takes every issue seriously, answers every question, and is a meticulous workman. The garage floor he did for us is stunning. He is humble, fun, courteous, friendly, extremely knowledgeable about adjacent trades and competent in several of them. I am delighted to give him the highest recommendation and look forward to referring him to friends and to using him again."

"When we called George to give us an estimate on our basement , we knew he was the right guy. He did such a good job in a basement. Then we had him do our two garages. He will never leave a job unless the customer is 100% satisfied. He takes pride in his work. He is a GREAT person to deal with and very responsive and very reasonable."
