Salon Epoxy Flooring in Stone Ridge, NY
USA Epoxy Floors delivers flooring solutions for salons throughout Stone Ridge, Ulster County, addressing challenges like heavy chair traffic, staining, harsh chemical spills, and frequent washing. From substrate preparation and repairs in styling areas and wash stations to seamless epoxy or polished concrete in reception and sales spaces, our work enhances both aesthetics and durability. Each system is chosen for chemical resistance, longevity, and safety, making salons easier to clean and maintain.
What We Do With Salon Floors
USA Epoxy Floors offers a complete range of salon flooring services in Stone Ridge, NY for salon owners and operators, handling surface preparation, crack and joint repairs, coating and adhesive removal, resinous flooring systems, concrete polishing, and ongoing maintenance, for over 25 years. Our work supports daily operations in styling stations, shampoo and wash rooms, retail and product display areas, reception zones, restrooms, and behind-the-scenes corridors.
In salons, floors must withstand frequent rolling chairs, customer and staff traffic, exposure to hair dyes, shampoos, and aggressive cleaning products, as well as potential spills. Reception and display areas depend on presentable, easily maintained floors, while working areas require finishes that do not absorb colorants or suffer damage from chemical and moisture exposure. Regular cleaning is the norm, so every floor must remain tough and maintain its appearance despite constant use.
For Stone Ridge salons, our approach includes mechanical preparation of every floor, addressing cracks or surface imperfections, and selecting systems specific to each zone—such as seamless epoxy, decorative flake or quartz blends, or polished concrete for a refined look. Slip-resistant finishes are added wherever water or product is likely to collect, and high-visibility areas receive topcoats that maintain color and gloss. Our experience with repairs, resurfacing, and installation in Stone Ridge ensures each salon receives flooring that stands up to operational routines and client expectations.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do you coat floors for Salon properties in Stone Ridge?
Yes. USA Epoxy Floors handles Salon floor coating throughout Stone Ridge and across Ulster County. Build thickness, chemical resistance, and slip rating are matched to how that kind of space actually gets used.
What does a Salon floor need that others do not?
Traffic type and load, chemical exposure, cleaning regime, temperature range, and slip requirements all differ by property type. A Salon gets a system specified against those conditions rather than a general-purpose build applied everywhere.
How long will the floor be out of service?
It depends on square footage, slab condition, and the system selected. Polyaspartic topcoats return a floor to service considerably faster than standard epoxy. For Salon spaces that cannot fully shut down, the work is often staged in sections so part of the operation keeps running.
Can the work be phased around operations?
In most cases, yes. Sectioning the floor lets a Salon in Stone Ridge keep functioning while the coating progresses area by area. The sequence is planned during the walkthrough around your schedule.
What preparation is involved?
The slab is mechanically profiled — diamond grinding or shot blasting — so the coating keys into the concrete. Cracks, joints, and damaged areas are repaired first, and slabs showing moisture are tested before a system is specified.
How do I get a quote for a Salon in Stone Ridge?
Call or text (845) 464-2539 or use the estimate form with the square footage and a description of the operation. George Tsinias walks the space in Stone Ridge and quotes it in person.
"4 other contractors showed up, did their pitch, and then had to "go back to the office to prepare a quote" - 2 of them never responded and the other two estimates seemed high - George on the other hand showed up, gave me my options and provided a written quote right on the spot that was about 15% less than the other quotes and went on to do a superb job on my garage floor. I would recommend him highly!"

"We are so happy to have discovered George Tsinias. He is an old school artisan and gentleman who takes pride in his work, takes every issue seriously, answers every question, and is a meticulous workman. The garage floor he did for us is stunning. He is humble, fun, courteous, friendly, extremely knowledgeable about adjacent trades and competent in several of them. I am delighted to give him the highest recommendation and look forward to referring him to friends and to using him again."

"When we called George to give us an estimate on our basement , we knew he was the right guy. He did such a good job in a basement. Then we had him do our two garages. He will never leave a job unless the customer is 100% satisfied. He takes pride in his work. He is a GREAT person to deal with and very responsive and very reasonable."
