USA EPOXY FLOORS
Quartz Epoxy Floor Installation in Thornwood, NY
Quartz epoxy floor installation by USA Epoxy Floors delivers a high-build, slip-resistant resinous surface in Thornwood. Mechanical surface preparation, full-broadcast quartz application, and chemical-resistant topcoats ensure durability for commercial and industrial settings in Westchester County.
Why Choose Us
Each quartz epoxy floor installation for Thornwood projects begins with direct slab evaluation and mechanical profiling to CSP 3-5 as required for full-broadcast systems. Moisture testing and concrete repairs address hidden conditions common in Westchester County properties, from vapor migration to substrate damage. / Resin installation starts with a primer and base coat, followed by colored quartz aggregate broadcast to refusal. Excess quartz is removed, and a grout coat encapsulates the aggregate, building out a dense, nonporous matrix. The final layer—a chemical-resistant topcoat—locks everything in, with resin type and finish selected around the facility’s chemical, abrasion, and sanitation challenges. / The finished floor is inspected for uniformity and bond strength. Thornwood property owners receive a seamless, slip-resistant floor system engineered for kitchens, manufacturing, laboratories, or any environment facing wet conditions or heavy use—delivering both function and a professional finish.
Owner Onsite for System Selection and Oversight
Every quartz epoxy floor installation in Thornwood includes an evaluation and written quote on the spot by George Tsinias, owner. Decisions on preparation and system build are made on-site, and George oversees all work in Westchester County from substrate testing through final walkthrough, ensuring specification meets environment.
Double-Broadcast Quartz Delivers Uniform Thickness in Thornwood
USA Epoxy Floors installs quartz resin systems using a full-broadcast process, embedding quartz aggregate deeply into each resin coat. This creates a heavy-duty, slip-resistant surface in Thornwood properties that is ready for demanding traffic, chemicals, and impact within Westchester County environments.
Sanitary, Slip-Resistant Finish for Westchester County Demands
The quartz-embedded epoxy cures to a dense, seamless surface with aggregate creating permanent slip-resistance, ideal for wet, food-service, healthcare, or industrial conditions in Thornwood. The system’s sealed finish blocks absorption, making for easy cleaning and a hygienic floor in Westchester County.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is Quartz Epoxy Floor Installation available in Thornwood?
Yes — Thornwood and communities across Westchester County, NY. USA Epoxy Floors has been doing this work since 2001 and travels throughout the region for it, residential and commercial alike.
What should I expect during Quartz Epoxy Floor Installation?
The space is cleared, the slab is inspected and profiled mechanically, repairs go in, and the coating system is applied in stages. Cure windows between coats are part of the schedule, not delays. At the end the floor is walked through together before the job closes.
Will Quartz Epoxy Floor Installation work on a floor that already has a coating?
Usually. The existing coating comes off mechanically, and the slab underneath is inspected to identify why the previous system failed. Poor preparation and moisture vapor account for most failures. The cause is addressed before a new system goes down.
What system will be used for Quartz Epoxy Floor Installation?
It depends on the floor. Epoxy builds thicker and bonds deep; polyaspartic cures quickly, tolerates colder installs, and resists UV yellowing. Many jobs use an epoxy base under a polyaspartic topcoat. The specification follows the slab inspection, the moisture readings, and how the space is used.
Can Quartz Epoxy Floor Installation be done in winter in Thornwood?
Frequently. Polyaspartic chemistry cures across a wider temperature range than standard epoxy, which makes cold-weather work viable in many unheated Thornwood spaces. Substrate temperature is the controlling factor and gets checked before scheduling.
How do I get a price for Quartz Epoxy Floor Installation?
Reach out at (845) 464-2539 or through the estimate form with the square footage and a description of the space. George Tsinias comes to Thornwood, walks the floor, and quotes on the spot.
What Our Clients Say about us..
"4 other contractors showed up, did their pitch, and then had to "go back to the office to prepare a quote" - 2 of them never responded and the other two estimates seemed high - George on the other hand showed up, gave me my options and provided a written quote right on the spot that was about 15% less than the other quotes and went on to do a superb job on my garage floor. I would recommend him highly!"

I am delighted to give him the highest recommendation and look forward to referring him to friends and to using him again."
