Why Choose Us
George Tsinias of USA Epoxy Floors inspects every floor in Voorheesville to diagnose moisture content, past repairs, contamination, or prior coatings before starting finishing. Cleaning or mild surface profiling is performed to ensure a stable foundation for the next steps. Interventions may include stain lifting, patch rework, or removal of old residues that could hinder bonding. / The selection of a finishing system is driven by anticipated traffic, environment, and desired aesthetics—commercial properties in Voorheesville may receive industrial polyaspartic or epoxy topcoats with slip resistance, while residential and institutional floors are often sealed for dust control and color stability. Material and application are calibrated based on floor absorption and use intensity, with options for gloss, satin, or matte finish applied as required. / Following application, every floor in Voorheesville is walked with the property owner to confirm finish consistency and the correctness of sheen for the space. The end product is a floor matched to traffic and maintenance realities, protected against stains and abrasion, and finished in a style suited to Voorheesville, Albany County, NY.
Substrate inspection and targeted prep for Voorheesville floors
On every project in Voorheesville, USA Epoxy Floors conducts a complete evaluation looking for latent moisture, patch failures, or embedded residue before preparation begins. George addresses cleaning, minor repairs, or light abrasion, ensuring the finishing system bonds directly to a stable, well-prepared surface throughout Voorheesville.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is Floor Finishing available in Voorheesville?
Yes — Voorheesville and communities across Albany County, NY. USA Epoxy Floors has been doing this work since 2001 and travels throughout the region for it, residential and commercial alike.
What should I expect during Floor Finishing?
The space is cleared, the slab is inspected and profiled mechanically, repairs go in, and the coating system is applied in stages. Cure windows between coats are part of the schedule, not delays. At the end the floor is walked through together before the job closes.
Will Floor Finishing work on a floor that already has a coating?
Usually. The existing coating comes off mechanically, and the slab underneath is inspected to identify why the previous system failed. Poor preparation and moisture vapor account for most failures. The cause is addressed before a new system goes down.
What system will be used for Floor Finishing?
It depends on the floor. Epoxy builds thicker and bonds deep; polyaspartic cures quickly, tolerates colder installs, and resists UV yellowing. Many jobs use an epoxy base under a polyaspartic topcoat. The specification follows the slab inspection, the moisture readings, and how the space is used.
Can Floor Finishing be done in winter in Voorheesville?
Frequently. Polyaspartic chemistry cures across a wider temperature range than standard epoxy, which makes cold-weather work viable in many unheated Voorheesville spaces. Substrate temperature is the controlling factor and gets checked before scheduling.
How do I get a price for Floor Finishing?
Reach out at (845) 464-2539 or through the estimate form with the square footage and a description of the space. George Tsinias comes to Voorheesville, walks the floor, and quotes on the spot.
What Our Clients Say about us..
"4 other contractors showed up, did their pitch, and then had to "go back to the office to prepare a quote" - 2 of them never responded and the other two estimates seemed high - George on the other hand showed up, gave me my options and provided a written quote right on the spot that was about 15% less than the other quotes and went on to do a superb job on my garage floor. I would recommend him highly!"
