What We Do With Car Wash Floors
USA Epoxy Floors has provided car wash flooring solutions in Erving, MA for car wash owners and managers, including epoxy and resinous system installation, slip-resistant finishes, surface preparation, concrete repair, and coating removal for over 25 years. We tackle everything from prepping slab surfaces in busy wash bays to reviving worn finishes in equipment spaces and maintaining floors in customer waiting areas that see foot traffic and cleaning agents.
Car wash floors must withstand steady water flow, grit, cleaning chemicals, grease, impact from vehicles, and harsh cleaning routines. Wash bays and tunnels need continuous, waterproof, non-slip surfaces to handle daily washing activities. Equipment and mechanical rooms see vibration, chemical drips, and runoff, requiring tough floor protection. Waiting rooms and walkways need stain resistance and a consistently safe surface for staff and guests.
We start by evaluating existing slab conditions, using mechanical grinding and professional coating removal to achieve a proper surface profile when needed. Moisture testing and crack repair come before installing any system. In wet zones, our focus is slip-resistant finishes, seamless integral cove bases, and chemical-resistant materials. For public and back-of-house areas, our flooring solutions balance durability with easy maintenance, keeping the entire car wash in Erving safe, clean, and ready for use.
Quartz Epoxy Floor Installation

Frequently Asked Questions
Does USA Epoxy Floors work on Car Wash properties near Erving?
Yes. Car Wash floor work runs throughout Erving and Franklin County. USA Epoxy Floors is based in Fishkill, family operated and veteran owned, and travels across the region for projects of this kind.
Is slip resistance addressed?
It is specified deliberately. Broadcast flake and quartz add texture, and anti-slip additives can go into the topcoat where the operation calls for it. The level is set against how the Car Wash is actually used, including wet areas and wash-down zones.
What happens if the slab has moisture issues?
Moisture vapor rising through concrete lifts coatings that were not built for it — a frequent problem in older Car Wash buildings. Slabs are tested where conditions warrant, and a moisture-mitigating primer or vapor barrier system is specified where readings call for it.
Can installation happen in cold weather?
Often. Polyaspartic and polyurea cure across a wider temperature range than standard epoxy, which makes cold-weather work viable in many unheated Car Wash spaces around Erving. Substrate temperature is checked before the job is scheduled.
How is the space prepared before work starts?
The floor area needs to be clear — equipment, stock, and vehicles moved out of the sections being coated. For a working Car Wash, the sequence is planned so the disruption is contained to one area at a time wherever the layout allows.
Who runs the project?
Owner George Tsinias. He estimates, works the floor, and handles the final walkthrough on every job, running since 2001. Call or text (845) 464-2539 for a Car Wash project in Erving.
What Our Clients Say about us..
"4 other contractors showed up, did their pitch, and then had to "go back to the office to prepare a quote" - 2 of them never responded and the other two estimates seemed high - George on the other hand showed up, gave me my options and provided a written quote right on the spot that was about 15% less than the other quotes and went on to do a superb job on my garage floor. I would recommend him highly!"

He is an old school artisan and gentleman who takes pride in his work, takes every issue seriously, answers every question, and is a meticulous workman. The garage floor he did for us is stunning. He is humble, fun, courteous, friendly, extremely knowledgeable about adjacent trades and competent in several of them. I am delighted to give him the highest recommendation and look forward to referring him to friends and to using him again."
