What We Do With Auto Shop Floors
USA Epoxy Floors has provided auto shop flooring solutions in West Hurley, NY for shop owners, service managers, and operators, including surface preparation, crack and joint repair, coating removal, epoxy system installation, and polished concrete finishes, for over 25 years. This work applies to service bays, wash and detailing areas, parts storage, office spaces, and customer waiting rooms where floors are exposed to constant vehicle movement, chemical spills, and heavy daily use.
Auto shop flooring must take constant rolling tire traffic, oil, coolants, cleaning chemicals, tool drops, and impact. Service bays need abrasion resistance and protection from hot fluids, while wash and detailing areas handle moisture and detergents. Office, waiting, and storage areas require finished floors that are easy to clean, safe, and suited for staff and customers.
Our experience with installation, restoration, and maintenance in West Hurley means we diagnose floor problems, remove failed coatings, repair damaged concrete, and use mechanical prep to ensure the floor is ready for use. We apply chemical-resistant resinous systems, slip-resistant and easy-to-clean finishes, and select polished or sealed surfaces for administrative and customer zones. Our work in West Hurley ensures durable, presentable, and safe auto shop floors with each installation.
Garage epoxy flooring
USA Epoxy Floors provides garage epoxy flooring in West Hurley using engineered, multi-coat systems proven for vehicle loads and the chemical exposures typical of garages. The process includes onsite moisture diagnostics, slab-specific repairs, and resilient resin installations.
Epoxy Floor Repair
Peeling epoxy, cracked resin, tire marks, worn lanes, blisters, and separated coating in West Hurley can indicate a localized defect or a failing floor system. USA Epoxy Floors provides Epoxy Floor Repair by testing adhesion, checking slab conditions, and preparing only the area that can support a bonded repair. Ulster County properties receive a repaired section or a documented recommendation for removal or resurfacing when patching would not hold.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do you coat floors for Auto Shop properties in West Hurley?
Yes. USA Epoxy Floors handles Auto Shop floor coating throughout West Hurley and across Ulster County. Build thickness, chemical resistance, and slip rating are matched to how that kind of space actually gets used.
What does a Auto Shop floor need that others do not?
Traffic type and load, chemical exposure, cleaning regime, temperature range, and slip requirements all differ by property type. A Auto Shop gets a system specified against those conditions rather than a general-purpose build applied everywhere.
How long will the floor be out of service?
It depends on square footage, slab condition, and the system selected. Polyaspartic topcoats return a floor to service considerably faster than standard epoxy. For Auto Shop spaces that cannot fully shut down, the work is often staged in sections so part of the operation keeps running.
Can the work be phased around operations?
In most cases, yes. Sectioning the floor lets a Auto Shop in West Hurley keep functioning while the coating progresses area by area. The sequence is planned during the walkthrough around your schedule.
What preparation is involved?
The slab is mechanically profiled — diamond grinding or shot blasting — so the coating keys into the concrete. Cracks, joints, and damaged areas are repaired first, and slabs showing moisture are tested before a system is specified.
How do I get a quote for a Auto Shop in West Hurley?
Call or text (845) 464-2539 or use the estimate form with the square footage and a description of the operation. George Tsinias walks the space in West Hurley and quotes it in person.
What Our Clients Say about us..
"4 other contractors showed up, did their pitch, and then had to "go back to the office to prepare a quote" - 2 of them never responded and the other two estimates seemed high - George on the other hand showed up, gave me my options and provided a written quote right on the spot that was about 15% less than the other quotes and went on to do a superb job on my garage floor. I would recommend him highly!"
